All Along the Watchtower
That is not an easy choice: But in this case I have to decide in favour of the cover version ofJimi Hendrix. His style of playing guitar is just sensational.
Bob Dylan was impressed by Jimis version of his song, too. So he even once played it during a concert in the style of Jimi Hendrix.
But I can't wait to see how you will vote...

Hendrix's arrangement and guitar works are definitely way better and are more spiced up with better quality whereas for Dylan's,it is more onto a slower and acouistic-like feel.I don't mean that Dylan's worse but it's just different

I actually prefer the XTC version from their first album in 1978. Tore it apart and rebuilt it.

This is a very tough call, I'm not sure which way I'm going to go. Probably for Jimi though.

i've got to go with the hendrix version just on pure spirit. this song coming from his strings personifies the mystique that is jimi. dylan knows he created a transcendent vehicle with this song, but hendrix was born to drive that vehicle
