Song to the Siren

David Lynch's favourite vocal ever; while Buckley is one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the 70's Elizabeth Fraser's (Cocteau Twins) vocal is hair-raising. Restrained fluid instrumentation make it magic and timeless.

This Mortal Coil has an awesome atmosphere and Elizabeth Frasers vocals are sublime. But she mangles the words and Tim Buckley sings with a darkness and real emotional weight. A scarier take
