Sweet Child O' Mine
Some think it's sacrilege, but I'm just a sucker for Sheryl Crow. I like her twangy sound over the hard rock original. Plus I like ballsy covers.

Comments about Sweet Child O' Mine:
Unfortunately, Sheryl doesn't cut it. Shame, her version of First Cut is good. Try the version of Sweet Child by Luna (iTunes) which is a fantastic song that doesn't take anything away from GnR.

I think I was ill for a week when I heard Crow's puke of a song. What a disgrace to cover G&FR like that. At least she wasn't going for November rain, that would have brought judgment day upon us.

duude.. how can you even compare GNR to Sheryl Crow.. Guns N' Roses has by far made the best version of sweet child o' mine

That should be "who the F*** are the 22%". I was a little to fired up before.

The poster from 26.10.2005 is an idiot. Crow is an an above-average-dive-bar-guitar-chick. GNR are legends and that is a fact. Ask any successful band today or the all-time greats and they will all testify to the greatness that was GNR. I could write for days defending my position but I think the 78% vote (at the time of this post) speaks for itself. BTW, who the F*** are the 28% who voted for Crow?

Guns N Roses are one of the greatest bands of all time and sheryl crow could never cover one of their classics.

One of the greatest rock songs of all time, and the greatest guitar song of all time. Sheryl Crow had a go, but nevermind.
Nothing compares to Guns N' Roses on this one. awesome

By far the best tune by a very bad band. Talk about an annoying voice! Why does he do all those "eieye eieye eeyies" in every song?! Sheryl Crow's got some doosies as well but man, thank God that Axl guy & his band are now generally thought of as just a bad nightmare. Thank God they haven't been played on rock 'n roll radio for years!
