DEFINITELY the Ronettes version. Its much more rock 'n' roll style, while the Beach Boys' version is more pop fluff. I love Ronnie's unique voice, and the wonderful harmonies, particularly the "ahh"'s at the end of each chorus.

The Beach Boys top The Ronettes on this one - hands down.

The Beach Boys destroy the Ronettes version.I heard The Ronettes original. All I could think of is the Beach Boys version, the whole time. The Ronettes are great but in this case The Beach Boys top them. The combination of Carl's lead and the backing and those tambourines. The Beach Boys,no contest.
