It has it's own fluidity? Put down the postmodern crackpipe my friend, and get a job.

I agree with Phil

Alanis Morisette is awful and ruined a great song by Seal. Keep her away from any covers so she can't ruin anymore songs with her annoying voice.

Seal. Plain and simple. I love Alanis and all.. but come on..

Seal's version is the best. Alanis Morrisette is better when playing her own songs, especially the "Jagged little pill" album with "You lern", "Hand in my pocket" and "Ironic".

Can't stand that whiney, nasal, shouty pretention to musicianship that is alanis morrisette. Seal lives it, and sings it.

Mushroomhead did a version of this song that far excedes the Alanis version. Its unfourtinate that it is not in this pole or I would have voted for it. Seal on the other hand did write it and damn... its hard to beat it.

Alanis is super!!!!! I've never been so impressed with the song... I heard and heared, and heard... Yeah.. its something amazing! Her voice is unbelievable! The speed of life now is faster than in Seal's version. And Alanis get it right exactly!! She is unglaublich!!!!! I admire her and always will!

There is no denying Seal's talent. He's got a strong, solid feeling to his songs, which is totally admirable. However, I think Alanis provides way more volatility to the song, which blends perfectly with it's message. My vote goes to her.
