Ike and Tina rock this song. I like Credence/Fogerty a lot, but the Turner's did this song better.

Nobody can ruin a song like Tina Turner. My neighbor sings better. The only good thing an honest music critic can say about Tina is that she finally threw that bum of a husband out.

Respects to Tina she did make a great cover of it but CCR is a very,very, very underrated rock band and didn't get enough credit especially for this song.

The Creedence version is great. I remember John Fogerty saying that he wanted the rhythm to sound like a big paddle wheeler. I love playing this thing on guitar in the original dropped tuning.
