Cover vs. Original

American Woman

Both are good songs but I tend to prefer the Kravitz version. The intended distortion at the end gets a little annoying, but it still rocks more than the original.

The Guess Who definitely has this one. I agree with mark though, you should compare it to Krokus's version, that one's great too.

Covers are great when an artist reinterprets a song makes you hear it in a different way. Sooo not so in this case. Hardly an original note. He just reminds us how good the original was.
