Cover vs. Original

I Wanna Be Your Man

The Beatles were already stars when they left one of their songs "I Wanna Be Your Man" to the still unknown Rolling Stones. The original was sung by Ringo Starr, the cover by Mick Jagger. It was worth while: The Stones had their first hit and became rock stars, too.

In my school the "Teletubbies" fans like The Beatles and the "Boohbah" people like The Rolling Stones.
So I vote for RINGO & FRIENDS

This very simple song was apparently tossed in as filler for the Beatles's second UK album, which was a mix of some of their favorites from the club days (Please Mr. Postman, Money, Till There Was You[!]) more recent covers of American rock and roll (Roll Over Beethoven) and their own, still basic, stuff.

The Beatles' version does move like an express train in comparison to the Stones' local, so I think the nod goes to the Beatles.

I'm a huge Beatles fan, but I must admit the Stones version is better.

It is also the original, the Beatles version is the cover, it was written for the Stones and they released it first.

Well...without The Beatles, Rolling Stones would be NOTHING.

Anyway, both are good, but i'll go with The Fab Four

Didnt the Beatles write this for the Rolling Stones to record? Then recorded it for themselves after it launched the Rolling Stones.

It is hard to vote on this one. I heard both versions of the song. I think they are both great...

I rate both a 10
