Sympathy For the Devil
Both good but Guns n' Roses has slash and is amazin guitar solo while keith richards isn't very outgoing in this track.
Both have annoying singers but gotta say that axl rose does better. And with the higher bass frequencies ,thanks to Duff with his high treble bass sounds, it also makes it sound fuller and more dynamic.

Axl in this song has the most evil manner of speaking I've ever heard - sounds like the devil himself, and Mick's flamboyant vocals don't compare. As a whole however, the Stones top it, with a superior backing track and solo.

well i'm a part of the newer generation...that relates a little more to the sound of the 90's and so on. The stones version obviously! G N R is dead...think god.

Slash has said this song was the sound of the band breaking up. Axl's cheesy 'Pleased ta meet chu...' was tired and shitty. I laughed when I 1st heard the cover. I knew GNR was over.

According to Slash's biography, the guitar track he laid down for this song was not used by Axl. Instead, Axl substituted the lame attempt by some guitar buddy of his. Slash was quite upset by this and does not care to ever hear the Guns & Roses version for the rest of his life. If he can't stand it why should we? Rolling Stones wrote it and OWN it. Their version is much superior!
