Land Of Confusion
With "Land Of Confusion" Disturbed have found the right song for a cover. More power, more rock - better than the original.

Comments about Land Of Confusion:
i agree with TR TRURO
disturbed appeal to people who want to feel depressed because they think their lives are bad. they think this song was written about their lives. genesis are soooo much better. its a fact, get over it. stop trying to be cool and admit it. disturbed are crap. finito

A reply to you!! I listen to Disturbed im not a emo or goth, i don't slit my wrists and definitely don't dress up in black and all that goth stuff bit like i don't need to be a chav to listen to drumb and bass, or a gangster to listen to rap, its just stereotypes because i listen to all music apart from classic that just makes me tired! i have not seen the genesis video (apparently there is one) but i have seen the disturbed one and it does seem to fit the song very well! but i have heard both versions and disturbeds version is better!

I voted for disturbed. now i want you to know that I LOVE GENESIS. Very very much. But i think the disturbed version brings a different perspective on the song. when i hear genesis i feel like the song is about how people in the world are not how they should, how the world could be a more friendly place and how some people abuse this to manipulate others. The disturbed version feel like a song about appression and more to the point goverments abusing power. but still having faith in "people". It feels more like a song about a goverment such as the nazis instead of riot. As such i felt the song hit a new level and had more impact.
Plus some of the minor riffs sound more powerful in the disturbed.
